Q: Tell me about the problem you're passionate about solving with your business. What drives you to tackle this issue?

A: We started this journey to provide barware that sparks joy. We know you can drink whiskey out of any old glass, but the experience is so much more delightful when it’s enjoyed how it’s supposed to be. 

We’re also passionate about the art of cocktail-making as a hobby and lifestyle. There’s something special in the power of gathering with friends, family, or even just oneself, and savoring the experience of creating and enjoying a well-crafted cocktail. It's more than just mixing ingredients; it's about connecting, celebrating, and creating memories.

Q: What was that spark, that first moment of inspiration, that led you to start your own business?

A: Our entrepreneurial journey began with the illness of one of our children. We made the pivotal choice between prioritizing our family or continuing with our corporate careers. It was non-negotiable for us to make a living and be fully present for our growing family. Crafted Barware is helping us create a legacy that not only provides for our children, but also reflects our shared values of hard work, integrity, and resilience.

Crafted Barware is a family business at heart. And as we continue, we are endlessly grateful for the opportunity to build something meaningful, not just for ourselves, but for our family.

Q: How have your life experiences shaped the way you approach your business today? Can you share how your background influences your decisions?

A: Each of us brings a totally different skill set to the table. Being from different business backgrounds, our collective expertise runs the gamut from management, finance, marketing, sales, and customer service. We feel like this combination gives us a synergy that makes creativity and problem-solving come naturally. 

Q: We all face obstacles. Could you share a particularly challenging moment in your business journey and how you turned it into a victory?

A: There was a time when we found ourselves unable to invest further in the growth of our business. As entrepreneurs, this made us feel stuck - like we’d never be able to see this project through to its potential. 

We recognized a potential partnership opportunity with a long-standing client and explored the possibility of a mutually beneficial merger. By combining resources, expertise, and market reach, we created a more resilient business that opened up new avenues for growth and innovation.

Q: With all the competition out there, what is it that truly sets your business apart? What's your secret sauce?

A: The barware industry is extremely saturated, so we knew off the bat that we’d have to find a way to set ourselves apart. But this wasn’t a challenge. We noticed quickly that, when it comes to home barware, people are looking for accessories they enjoy using, displaying, and sharing. The internet is flooded with low-quality products that only last a few uses. It’s not quite so easy to come by such a unique blend of quality, craftsmanship, and style.

Our dedication to customer satisfaction is unparalleled. We prioritize the preferences of our customers above all else, working tirelessly to provide not only top-notch products but also exceptional support and service. If we wouldn’t want to own a product, we won’t sell it. It’s as simple as that.

Our true expertise is our customized gifts and engraving. We take pride in our ability to create one-of-a-kind pieces that hold sentimental value for our customers. All customizations, individual or bulk, are fulfilled right here in our Denver warehouse.

Q: Where are your products made?

A: We’ve gone through a diligent vetting process with one goal in mind: to find the perfect balance between competitive pricing and quality products. We’ve chosen a few strategic suppliers located in India and China that understand our quality standards every time. 

The custom engraving process happens right here in our Denver workshop. Clients can speak with our customer support team here in the U.S. and make sure all specifications are understood and met!
